You are invited to participate in a study on probability estimation. The purpose of this study is to help us understand how people assess the likelihood of various events. In this study, you will be reading very short passages and estimating the probability of various events. You may also read brief statements and answer some questions about whether or not some inferences are logical. The entire experiment will take approximately 20 minutes. We hope this research will help us better understand how people approach probability assessments.
It is important for you to know that you will not be judged in any way as an individual during this study. The confidentiality of the data will be maintained. If you have any questions about the experiment, feel free to contact Dr. Christopher Wolfe, +001 (513) 529-5670, e-mail: WolfeCR@muohio.edu.
Participation in this study is voluntary. If you feel uncomfortable at any time during this experiment for any reason, you may choose not to participate without any penalty.
